This exclusive tasting experience invites you to travel back in time to the era of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (GDL) and explore the culinary traditions of both crowned and uncrowned Lithuanian nobility. Discover the dishes that once graced the tables of the most powerful families. This is not just a gastronomic journey but also a cultural experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the luxurious cuisine of our rich heritage.

• A guided tour of the magnificent Pažaislis Monastery ensemble (admission included)
• Authentic dish tasting – savor carefully reconstructed noble dishes of the GDL at the renowned restaurant Monte Pacis.
• Captivating historical narratives – hear fascinating stories about the lives of the most influential noble families, their opulent lifestyle, and the grand feasting traditions of the time. Learn about the Radziwiłł, Chodkiewicz, Pac, Sapieha, and Tyszkiewicz families, whose wealth and power shaped history of Lithuania.
• Authentic setting – tasting will take place in the elegant 17th-century guest hall of Pažaislis Monastery, offering a truly immersive experience.

Tasting Menu

• Salted mackerel served with beetroot, kastinys (Lithuanian sour cream butter), pickled cucumbers, fermented tomato water, and dill oil.
• Duck breast accompanied by potatoes, Romanesco cauliflower, compressed plums, herb-infused peanuts, caramelized carrot purée, and wild berry sauce.
• For dessert – lemon tartlet with passion fruit meringue, mango confit, and white chocolate mousse.

Tour & Tasting duration – 3 hours

Price: €76 per person. The price includes the guided tour, Pažaislis Monastery admission ticket, and the full tasting experience.
